NEW HI-RES LINEAR GAGES OFFER 1.2" STROKE AND UP TO FOUR PROBE INPUTS

Brunswick Instrument, Inc. of Niles, IL has been appointed by Acqui of France as the master U.S. importer and distributor of the Acqui line of digital linear measurement products.

PROCAP gage probes are incremental glass scale type in rugged, slender (less than 1/2" diameter) cylindrical bodies and can be fixtured like dial indicators in various dimensional gaging applications. Three ranges of stroke are available: .400" (10mm), .600" (15mm) and 1.200" (30mm) all providing resolution of twenty millionths of an inch (.000020" / .5 micron). The probes are linear along their entire stroke and do not require calibration. Vacuum retract versions of the 10mm and 15mm stroke models are also available.

The PROMUX 4C digital display allows connection of up to four gage probes simultaneously. Probe values may be displayed independently or mathematically combined in pairs. A selectable "Auto-Recognition" feature senses probe activity and automatically displays the active probe value, eliminating the need for manual switching in applications having multiple gage fixtures. Other features include MIN/MAX/TIR peak hold, tolerance limit indicators, inch or metric operation and RS-232 data output. Preset values and tolerance limits can be set independently for each probe channel. Up to 256 readings per channel can be stored, even after power has been shut off, for later download. The unit will accept and produce control signals for automation applications having a connected computer or logic controller. In addition, statistical analysis functions can be performed. X-Bar, Range and Standard Deviation can be calculated from the stored values and displayed or output.

The PROMUX single input digital display includes all the peak hold, tolerance limit, output, statistics and data storage functions of the PROMUX 4C.
